Jael

At this time, the Canaanite king Jabin reigned, and his army, led by the formidable commander Sisera, oppressed the Israelites for twenty years.

Deborah, a prophetess and judge of Israel, played a pivotal role in the narrative. She instructed Barak, a military leader, to gather an army and confront Sisera's forces. Barak agreed, but only if Deborah joined him in the battle. Deborah prophesied that the victory would be at the hands of a woman, a prediction fulfilled by Jael's decisive act.

Once Sisera fell into a deep sleep, Jael seized the moment. Her actions secured the victory for Israel and fulfilled Deborah's prophecy that a woman would defeat Sisera.
